Where R U From?

Hello All,

I will be picking up my ROTEL 1068 & RT-02 this Wed. from Worldwide Stereo in Abington PA.

My first processor was a B&K Ref-50 but it had a few problem. After hearing the Rotel-1068, we made the purchase. I'll be using it for mainly movies with our Paradigm Studio 100's.

By the way, where is everyone from? We are from Philly (Phila. PA)

Interesting, I have been debating a move to the Ref 50 series 2 compared to my current 1068.

Not quite sure with unit has better sonics, I was concerned about quality issues, I believe even early series2 had some issues.

I do love the 1068 and think you made a great choice, not one issue running and operating the 1068

I got my RSP-1098, RB-1080, RT-1080, and RMB-1095 from a place in Ohio...short little drive to pick it all up and avoid shipping...gotta love that.

So far it's all worked flawlessly...

Audio Visions in Canton Ohio (I believe they have another store or two in ohio)... Great place for Rotel/B&W/Denon/Yamaha/Mitsubishi/Klipsch/Martin Logan/etc... Can't remember them all.

I know the owner of the store, so I always contact him when I want to buy my equipment. I wish I had known him when I bought my B&W speakers, I would've probably gotten the N802 or 4s at the time... Oh well, that at least leaves me to upgrade!!!

Hmm I seem to be a bit further away.
The Netherlands, Nijmegen to be more precise.
Yes it's nearby (compared to USA measerments) amsterdam only 1,5 hours trafel. But for me it's to far away it's the other side of the country.

Ahh sweet, I work with Eric (owner) whenever I get all my stuff. But I did sit and wait almost an hour for Eric the one time and BSed with Bill. Nice guy...very funny...and I think I know more about the stuff they sell than he does. :rofl: But Bill's really cool. My drive was about 100 miles...but like you said, was definitely worth it! I just wish I could've gotten a set of 802s off of him with the HTM1 and maybe 805s for the surrounds... Ack, I hate upgradeitis.

Ahh yes World Wide Stereo and Video. Bob and Rons place. I know it well as some former Employees of mine (from Soundex which closed ) work there. They also have Dynaudio. Rotel and Dynaudio is such a sweet mix.

I also live near Phila in bucks county.
