    RSP with relays-based input selector

    Hello,

does anyone know what Rotel sound processor (RSP line) has an input selector based on a bunch of relays and has a motor-driven volume control at the same time?

    Regards,

A motor driven volume control is not used for SSP's, because they all use rotary encoders instead of analog potentiometers (which do require motordrive).
Motor driven volume control is only found in analog stereo amps.
With a rotary encoder there is no need for a motor drive because it's all digitally controlled.
And the RSP1098 is fully relay based for nearly everything, which is why it clicks so much

Thank you! This is exactly the information I needed. By the way is RSP-1098 the only one RSP with relays?
