A very impressive reciever indeed. I remember having a very hard time deciding wether to opt for the separate route or the to take home this beast. But since theoretically the separate power supplies and the increased amount of watts/channel should make the separates sound slightly better, I eventually decided to buy the separates. Can anyone help me on this choice regarding Pre/pro and Amp (to power B&W 703 Fronts and mathcing Surrounds):
1) RSX 1067 and and 1080 (2 x 200W) to power the 2 fron channels
2) RSP 1068 and 1095 (5 x 200w)

This has been debated for a long time, and was wondering what do you think on this topic. As time goes by we see more new products, more fancy and more complex. As the newer flagship receivers come out, they can really give some separates a good run for their money. Its not more so the power section...
