    Rsp-1068 Osd?

So, I just got a 1068 today, and I have it hooked up to the component imputs of my TV (from the 1068s monitor out). If i turn the unit on, I see the boot screen, I can see the volume up/down or if I change any of the inputs, but I can't seem to get the OSD to turn on!

I'm using the 1050 remote that comes with the unit, and no matter what I seem to press (including the OSD button), I can't seem to get the OSD to come on!

Any hints? I can't seem to find anything in the manual..

Are you hitting the AUD button first to put the remote in the correct mode to control the 1068?

Well, I thought I had it figured out. I *had* the system status screen up a minute ago under AUD, but hitting enter wouldn't bring me to the main menu (as the manual said it would). Now, if I hit aud (or hold it down) I can't seem to get the OSD to come up even. I'm usually good at this sort of thing!

Hm, I think something is up with this remote. Does anyone know how to reset a rr-1050 to factory defaults? When I press buttons like AUD or OSD, after it says what the source is on the LCD, it says "EMPTY". Now I can't get the remote to even turn the unit on or off :/

Ok, after reading the instructions some more, it seems as though I have unset some crucial buttons (power, osd, etc). Is there a way to reset this thing 100% to factory defaults?

                Hi

I have just recieved my rotel RSP1068 from a dealer here in Denmark.

I have done a search and read about other peoples problems with no OSD but still can't work out my problem.

I have the AUD mode selected on the remote, and then press the Menu/OSD button on the remote. I see the OSD on the front panel display light up but there is no OSD on my TV....

1098 Display shuts off permanently after holding down display button
                by Quantronics
I know there's been a lot of anticipation in getting the 1098 display to turn off and remain off when you silent the display. My system can do it! There's only one problem, I can't back track and replicate it each time. I typically leave my system on 24hrs. I also turn on my zone 2. I'm not sure...

Hi all, I have just purchased the above reciever and so joined the Rotel community.
I spent a bit of time today changing over recievers, my old one being a Yammy RX-V1095.
I have removed some equipment to make the set-up/transition a bit easier but am having a problem setting up.ops:...

Trick to view OSD on 1067?
                by hemifever
I have a new 1067 receiver. I'm trying to get the OSD up on screen. I have a component connection to the TV from the receiver. I even plugged an S-video cable in the monitor out to my TV. It doesn't matter which video input I choose on my TV (the component or the s-video), nothing happens when I press...
