    RDV-1050 & SDI Mod.

    Does anyone know, if it´s possible to mod the RDV-1050 with SDI ???

    I would like to use the SDI option with the "DVDO Iscan HD+" scaler for optimal picture control in my humble "Home Cinema"

          As you're probably aware it depends entirely on how the MPEG decoder is implemented. I know that some Arcam and Denons can be, along with others, but I couldn't say for sure if the Rotel piece can be.

              I´m having a VERY annoing problem using the RDV1050 DVD. -Whenever I (or my neighbour for that matter) switch the light on/off in my/his apartment (or my refrigiator turns on/off), the sound dissapear shortly, as if the RDV1050 loses sync (Via coax) to the RSP1068... it does not affect the picture...

              I really like the very clean, unstrained, sound character of the H1212. But after some listening sessions I experience, as some has already pointed out, a little feeling of tired ears. Some has suspected the high Q peak in the top end response to be responsible to this behaviour even if the peak itself...
