1098 and volume "clicks" .. please test

I've noticed a disappointing thing on my 1098: when i turn up/down volume, either with the remote or from the unit, i can often hear small "clicks". I'm not talking of the "louder" clicks you hear when you switch from a mode to another or from dvd to tv etc. It's just a small click, as some dust entered on the volume circuit.
Please do the following to test: set one input with no signal and lower/increase the volume up and down. You should hear the small "clicks" as the volume change. Is this normal? A new firmware can fix it? The new 1098 DSP board is free from this clicks?

I have the same problem. Read a thread written by me earlier. Because it's a
digital volume I'v heard.

I haven't read it anywhere, i was just asking. Anyway the 1098 now on sale have a new DSP board, that seems pretty shure ...
