    RDV 1060 is here!!!

It sounds sooooo good! Had a 2 year old DVD player that I couldn't bear to listen to in analog. This new player sounds terrific. Will be watching a DVD today on my HDTV!!!

I had no doubt the audio would be first rate...good to hear the video holds up as well. Any hint of the chroma bug?

Shirley you can not be serious. I've been using a HTPC now for 2 years and back then the bug was well known.(never really annoyed me much though)
I figured by now it would be anchient history by now.

              by weijst
              Hi all!

I'm about to get a 'matching' DVD-player (I stopped waiting for the new generation of DVD players from Rotel the moment I heard the anticipated prices...).

I was hoping to recieve some answers on the following questions:

              1) Is there any reason for...

Rotel RDV-1060 vs SoundBlaster X-Fi ExtremeMusic
              by slaikan
I decided to upgrade my 5 Year old SB Live sound card in my PC to a X-Fi ExtremeMusic. Made a huge difference to how my PC speakers sounded. I then was interested to see how it compared to a RSP-1068/RDV-1060. I've been lurking around on these forums and have noticed a few people have gone the PC audio...

              by Nolan B
After many questions and comparisons I got the RDV 1060 today. I'm not experienced in writting reviews, but I am going to try my best to answer the questions for you that i was asking before deciding on the RDV 1060.

I found it hard to find what other dvd players the RDV 1060 compared...

Imp. Question for Rotel RDV-1060 owners!!!!
              by chinets
For all Rotel RDV-1060 Owners: My question is that I bought for the first time a DVD Audio ( Diana Krall...Jazz) and put it in my RDV-1060 that is processed through a Rotel 1065 5.1 Amp 1t 5x100W and to my surprise the RDV-1060 would not play the DVD Audio I bought. The 1060 clearly states that it...

Decided to return the RDV-1060 for a RCD 1072
              by DUCKY
              Gents,

I originally bought the RDV-1060 aiming to use it for both CD's and DVD's. Unfortunately the unit I received had some issues so I almost immediately had to give it back to the shop for repair.

After my RDV-1060 came back from repair (gone for a month after handling...
