My rdv 985 is not responding on svcd and dvd-r

I have trouble with my dvd player it is not responding on my dvd svcd dvd-r this has started after i moved it from one corner too another. So it cant be broken. And it is showing wrong region.

I have found out that when you turn the power of and then pushed play and open together and put the power AC on test will be shown. I havent gone any further.

Your half way there.
1. unplug rdv985
2. press and hold buttons "open/close", and "play"
3.Should display " TEST 5u1"
4. press the "VSS" button once
5 Dispaly should read "96khz sampling"
6.Press the power button twice and you should be up and running.

I had that problem also with my rdv-985 once. Tech support from Rotel NL had to reset it before it would function again.

I am unware of what they did to reset it at the NL service centre, so I cannot give you the answer.

Dit you try DJDREW's key combination. Othewise contact W&W netherland, the are in Rotterdam and see if they can help. I no longer have the RDV-985, so I can't try for you.
