Should I Upgrade my Software? RSX-1056

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased my 1056. I can't complain one bit about how it functions. Out of the box it came with Software version V1.1.6-040329.

Do I have any reason to upgrade to the V1.1.7? It runs good so I'm reluctant to change.

Yes there's no reason not to upgrade..its free and adds some new functions.

True. But that's my question. What features do I get when I upgrade? It all seems to work good already.

You can go to Rotel.com select support/ downloads/ find your'e product and there will be software release notes on all revisions.

Well you see, that's the thing. The release notes don't detail what happened between V1.1.6 and V1.1.7. I was hoping someone knew first hand.

Core read the FAQ thread for more details but basically press and hold the mute button on your remote until its displayed.

In my personal opinion I would not update if you are ok with your unit operation but, to each its own.
