Krell HTS software questions

Krell HTS 7.1/Showcase processor experiences please

I'm on "final approach" with regard to my proccessor upgrade.

My shortlist consisted of 3 processors:

- Meridian G61
- Krell Showcase processor
- Krell HTS

The Meridian G61 processor is not my favourite at the moment for the following...

Buzzing sound from Krell HTS

I hear a buzzing sound on all the inputs from my Krell HTS. I bought this couple of months ago and hooked it up only now.

Setup:
The ac outlets are all properly grounded.
Krell HTS is connected to a ac outlet with a 3 prong power cable.
Rotel RMB-1095, also connected...

Seeking opinions on Krell, Benchmark, other DACs, other pre/pros

Hi there,

I'm currently using something like this

Source (FLAC, CD, vinyl)->Outlaw990->Sunfire Cinema Grand->Vandersteen 3A Sig

I'm using four channels of the Sunfire to biamp the Vandersteens, and using the Outlaw's DACs when listening to a digital...

Kef or Krell Speakers System

We finally have updated our electronics with Krell HTS 7.1, Krell FPB 300 cx main amps, Krell Theater Amplifier Standard for Central & Surround and Sony ES DVP-Cx777 ES & Krell Showcase DVD as main players.

Need some good recomendation and/or sugestions for the following two Speaker...
