    Some Mute and Volume questions about the RSX-1055

    1) Is there a way to set the unit so that after pressing Mute, it will un-Mute on either a Vol + or Vol - command? From doing a search I see that the 1065's firmware has been updated to allow this. What about the 1055?

    2) Can the Mute status be queried via RS-232?

    3) Can the Volume level be queried via RS-232?

      There is not an actual "Mute" button on the receiver, but the Rotel RR-AT95 remote has a Mute button, and when pushed the LED on the receiver flashes "Mute on"...
