After waiting a whole month to get my RSX 1067 back from service I couldn't wait to set it up. I was able to get into the OSD and use the setup for my speakers etc, now after playing around some more with my DVD player I tried to get back in to the OSD and no such luck. I pressed AUD then menu and I get nothing. I have tried this on video 1-5 and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I guessing that you haven't played around with the remote learning functions? If you have you may have accidentally over-wrote the menu command. Not hitting the AUD button is the common mistake, and you've got that covered. Do you get on screen feeback for volume and surround changes?

Thanks for the response. Personally I think I have gremlins running around my house. After many different combinations of video switching etc. the OSD screen popped up and I am back in business. From now on I will take notes on what I have tried so as not to repeat the same mistake 20 times over.Comment

I have done a search and read about other peoples problems with no OSD but still can't work out my problem.
I have the AUD mode selected on the remote, and then press the Menu/OSD button on the remote. I see the OSD on the front panel display light up but there is no OSD on my TV.... -
Recently upgraded firmware and now cannot access the setup menu on rsp 1068. I hit AUD and then Menu/OSD, 1050 remote says OSD but the 1068 panel does not change. Other buttons on the remote work such as vol, on and off, sub, and others. The 1050 also works with other units (TV, CD, Phono).

Hello all, I'm having problems with my osd, everytime I press the osd (menu) button, I get kind of a scrambled image of the osd, it looks like electric interference, and then fades to just interference. I have tried changing composite cables, I've tried svideo cables and even changing inputs in my tv.... -
I had my receiver rsx 1055 repaired and when I received it back, the OSD (connected via s-video) didn't work properly. It would not overlay on video for any OSD unless it was on Tuner input. I have lost my OSD on my TV. When I select the "RCVR SETUP' button on the remote, the display on the prepro shows "MENU ON" , but, I don't get the OSD on the Panasonic TV. It's an HDMI connection. Spent 30 mins on phone with ROTEL and no fix. The OSD worked when I installed it 6 months...
