I´m having a VERY annoing problem using the RDV1050 DVD. -Whenever I (or my neighbour for that matter) switch the light on/off in my/his apartment (or my refrigiator turns on/off), the sound dissapear shortly, as if the RDV1050 loses sync (Via coax) to the RSP1068... it does not affect the picture... -
hmmm... my previous thread has led me to another question.......I know you cant play Region 1 DVD's in Region 4 or others but I also know that you have regionfree DVD players....or you can tweak your DVD's to be region free.......but the real question coming to my mind is :

I saw a while back a guy in U.K. selling some type of factory service CD that makes Denon 2200 and 2900 region free. He claimed it's completely safe and won't void warranty. I'm thinking of buyng RDV-1050 but are worried that they might not be region free. So is there anyone here from Canada who has a RDV-1050 who can tell me if it's region free or not? -

Rotel has 'all' enabled dvd players in other countries. I asked tech support (rotel)and they said that even though there is no law against selling region free...
