Hello all. Any possible way to update the MC-1 to handle DTS-ES or DVD Audio/SACD?

To use DVD-A or SACD you would require a external switch or you could look for a used Sony TA-P9000ES preamp to add to your MC-1.
When I had the MC-1 I used the TA-P9000ES. It has two 5.1 channel inputs (dvd-a & sacd), and a 5.1 channel bypass (Lexicon).

I am considering purchasing a Pioneer 563A ($180) universal player to replace my Toshiba SD5700. I am currently using just the digital connection (not using the 5 analog cables for DVDA). This will be my first experience with DVDA/SACD in conjunction with my 1066 so please bear with me.
