I have been reading about the coveted Ref 50 having noise at low volumes. While some can live with this, some find it annoying or unacceptable.
From what I can gather, it is the absence of the mute circuitry. Now when you add volume, you can't hear the noise. I have also read that one consumer said that a couple of the RCA outs were touching the metal on the black panel...
Some say that this is not a new thing, and was inherent on the 20 & 30. I understand B&K are selling alot of these units, and this doesn't seem to be a concern for most.
Is this normal for most pre/pros or could it be a B&K design flaw???
