    What source would be good for PT5/ST125.2/B&W 604 S3

    Hello,

    Recently I got my post on B&W section of the forum about my speakers. Now it's time to get some knowledge from B&K fans. I'm looking for a CD Player that would match with my B&K PT5 (pre) and B&K ST125.2 (amp), as far as DVD Player I use DENON DVD-2910 and I love it. Now is time for a CD Player, something good but in a price range about $600 up to $1000 MAX. Also what interconnects do you recommend to use with B&K products? Right now I got Monster THX 800 (1m) connecting my Cable box to pre-amp, for DVD use Audio Quest Copperhead (1m), and to connect per amp with power amp I use Kimber Kable KCAG (0.5m) with is an awesome cable but have some problems with but that part I will mentioned in existing thread. I appreciate your inputs, and thank you for your help.

      Check out Rotel cd players, they sound really good and are well priced.

      Sony ES also make nice cd players.

          BW 604 S3 is quite a good selection

          when I was in Singapore I listened Rotel RCD-02 400$
          and Roksan Kandy 600$
          Rcd-02 is very clean, robust, detailed sound

              Yes I as well have listened to the DCR-02 and I was amazed on it's performance for the money they want.

                  I will be installing hardwood floor in my listening room tomorow. The problem is that the spikes will damage the floor, I was just thinking about something that I can put under the speakers.                   I've listened to the 604's and the 703's. The 703's sound much better to my ear, however, the 604's are very good. To me, the 604's sound better than the Energy C-9's (a former option).
