    Xantech with C2

hi all, I have some questions regarding xantech that I am hoping someone can help with

    1. can I plug a xantech ir receiver directly into the main ir input on my c2?

    2. can I plug a 3.5mm jack (mono?) between the zone 2 ir input on my c2 and a xantech CB20. I want to use 1 xantech output for the zone 2 and the other output for an ir emitter on my pj screen.

Does xantech equipnment work fine with the halo?

    thanks

Hey, Cam, I use a Xantech powered connecting block and distribution system, including C1 control. The one thing we've found for Halo owners, (and maybe 7100 too, not sure) is that IR distribution systems need to be powered, otherwise the Halo controllers don't always pick up the signal.

    1. I suppose that would work, although I haven't heard of somebody doing that without a connecting block.

    2. I'm not familiar with the CB20 model, but if it's a regular Xantech distro block, it should work. (again, recommend powered)

    3. Yup, mine works fine!

hi, does anyone know whether the front ir still works if an ir mono jack is plugged into the ir input on the back of the c2?

        thanks

Yes it does, Cam. I have this configuration working on my C1 right now.
