The C2 has come with Big thanks To Peter Nielsen

    Hi all :T

I wanted to say that Peter Nielsen is one of the Best/trusty people
i have learn to know on so short time.
I was looking for some upgrade on my system and i made a post here
about it and after a while Peter send me a pm and told me that he could
help me find a nice preamp.
We talked about it over mail and he found one for a good price and before he ship it to me he checked that all was good and he made the cable to the remote
"it was missing" he also checked so the firmware was updated.
Peter is a nice person who cares about the people who buys products from him
and i cant find words to thanks him so i tell you all that he is a great person.
I hope that i can give something back one day but it hard to find something who you cant find in Us..

Big Thanks again to Peter ;x(

Not sure what you are talking about. Peter is a real Jerk!!!!!!!!
Look at his system! Anybody with a system better than mine can't be cool. Peter should not be trusted, he must be shady to have all that gear!

Actually, I bought a couple things off him and he took care of me. He is good in my book. I'm shocked he is still on this site as he has moved on to bigger and better things, as in getting rid of his Halo gear. Peter, do you still have any of it left? I know you sold you Pre/Pro and was looking to off the amps as well. What are you running now?
            Parasound Halo C2
            Earthquake Cinenova Grande (5ch amp)

Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 21 Tube DAC
            Xbox One
Monster Cable Signiture Series HTPS 7000
            Panasonic 60" ST Series Plasma

Yes, I did sell all my Halo gear. The reason was mostly because I wanted to move to cool running (digital) amplifiers. The nine JC-1s were heating the room up to crazy temperatures.

I switched to a 100% TacT digital system. The signal stays in 192/24 digital form all the way until the power amplifier where the digital signal is processed and transformed into pulse width modulation (PWM) that eventually produces the analog signal for the speaker. Thus, the system does not have a traditional DAC at all, and unlike most other "digital" amplifiers the signal stays in the digital domain all the time (compare this to Hypex or IcePower based amps where the PWM is driven by an analog signal). Volume control is done by regulating the voltage to the power amplifiers (the digital signal stays at 100% level, or full resolution, at all times).

              Slim Devices Transporter
              Vigatec GVC1280 scaler
Sony DVP-S7700 (will probably replace this with a Denon Blue-ray if I can get one in silver)
              Lyngdorf CD-1
              TacT TCS Mk II
Boz 216 with eight Boz 2200 modules

I still follow this Forum because I think the Parasound Halo gear is some of the best gear you can get for the money spent...

Other than not having the heater in the room now, was it an improvement in sound quality?

Rather the opposite. The sound cannot get better than what the JC-1s produce...
