arcam amp for 805s

hi... long time watcher , first time poster here

Been saving the pennies and have finally got an arcam av8 and was going to match this with the p7 and with some 805s and a htm2 , but since I've been reading through posts here I'm wondering whether the P7 will have enough power to do the speakers justice. While I dont' want to change the av8 will the P7 be up to the job or is there another 7 channel amp in that price range that would be suitable

The P7 should do fine, I know someone who uses a P7 to bi-amp his Infinity Omega's, not exactly an easy load either
He does use 2 channels per speaker if I'm correct, bi-amped so to speak.
So I wouldn't worry too much.

Hey Lee - how are you doing mate ? P7 will comfortably run 805's no problem imho. You dont need to biamp either - it will cope.

I didn't plan to bi-amp them as I wanted all 7 channels , yep I'm that greedy

but I'm glad you've put my mind at ease again rags, now if I can just find that black p7 and if you hadn't sold on your 805s then I'd be sorted. Oh well I'll keep trawling the ads
