how to install a new tweeter for Matrix 801 S3

    Hi,
I need to install a new tweeter for a Matrix 801 S3. I do have a new tweeter at hand but I am not sure how to install it.
How do I get into the tweeter house?
I hope someone can help and if so please let me know the steps I have to take to change the tweeter.

    Thanks.

Well, I couldn't find an answer on You Tube, but I had a look into old files of mine, which helped a bit. I knew there was a difference between the S2 and the S3 series about replacing the tweeter.

Anyway for the S3 it is as follows:

Unscrew the midrange speaker and pull it out carefully. You will see then the screw which with the house of the tweeter is holded and the cable for the audio connection. One can separate the cable by simply, but carefully unplug it. Unscrew the house of the tweeter. Replace the tweeter ...

After I had done that I opened the replaced tweeter (the one with the dented diaphragma), removed the diaphragma and pushed it back from the inside. It helped (so I keep it as a reserve), but it is not so good as an undented one.

I'm using my 801 Matrix Series 2 and HTM Matrix for the front 3 speakers.
Currently using some old Epicures for the rear. Now that I'm upgrading the whole theatre I was looking for suggestions for the side-surrounds and rears.

In the thread 'How to replace tweeters on Nautilus and Signature speakers' DM3000 Owner answered my question about replacing tweeters on the Matrix 801 S3 (and S2) as follows:
            "I did a Matrix tweeter.
You can do it two ways. Both require removing the tweeter housing.

            Hi everybody!

As many of you, the Matrix 801 were a dream from the very beginning, when falling into Hi-Fi clutches. Years have passed and finally I could bought a pair of 801 Series II second handed (white ones), while now I also got another pair of 801 (black ones), but in Series III....

            Tighten topbox on Matrix 801?
            by Joawen
I just discovered that the boxes with mid/tweeter on my Matrix 801 series3 are loose, on my 802's it's possible to angle them in/out but they are really tight back/forward, up/down.

How are the boxes on top fastenend, is there a way to tighten up the thing holding the boxes so it moves...
