How much is a used B&W ASW CM10 Subwoofer worth?

I have one I'd like to get rid of with the original box and grille.

          1) it's worth what people will pay for it. (Smart--- answer, but true, market varies, and depends where you sell it)
          2) it's worth less when the seller starts threads like "What's up with B&W subwoofers", and complains they generally perform poorly. I mean, who would want to buy your sub now?
          3) At this point, try selling on EBay with free shipping CONUS, excellent photos with top notch equipment only in background, and lean heavily on B&W reputation, the retail cost, and how rarely these come up for sale.

On the basis of your thread, I'm keeping a pair of old school Velodyne F1500 until I've carefully listened to the new set up I bought, the old school FCM8x3 with matching PCS8 subsx2. May need to augment, but suspect room acoustics will be the reason the B&W succeed or fail on their own for deep bass.

Retail less 15% discount, then 50% of the balance. That's a good starting point, may be some variation up or down depending on age. But it's a good rule of thumb for products under 5 years.

Is there a major Sonic difference between ASW 855 and ASW 850 Subs????
                by chinets
                Hi Ya'll,
As a current owner of a ASW 850 Sub and adding another one for serious HT and Music bass. Would an ASW 855 Have a different Sonic sound or obvious difference in sound than my current ASW 850, because my dealer said he had a perfect condition ASW 850 at half the price of the ASW 855...

                B&W CM10 with Nad C370 & C270 bridged good choice?
                by Win1
                Hi all,

I have a pair of B&W CM10's running off a Nad C370 pre/power amp & a Nad C270 power amp both bridged rated 300Wrms each. The power amp section on both units is identical, the C370 just adds a pre amp.

My room is 32ft by 15ft.

                I am pleased...

                Hi guys,

Been looking for some user reviews on the new flagship CM10 speakers but there's not much out there on the Interwebs thus far. So I thought I'd generate some discussion on the boards here. How do you guys feel the CM10 stacks up against the CM9? Does the out-of-the-box tweeter...

I am considering purchasing a pair of CM10 speakers along with the CM-C center-channel, for use in my home-theater which is located in a dedicated, acoustically-treated room. I was told by the designer that I needed a speaker with strong low frequencies, for the bass to register in this room. I wont...

Need amplifier advice for B&W cm10
                by dansken75
Hi. I am new to this forum and couldn't find the answer in other threads. I have a set of Bowers & Wilkins Cm10 speakers with the matching center CMC2 . I run this with a Yamaha receiver but I lack the full punch that I know they can deliver, the receiver is to weak. However, I've looked around...
