    Cm9 & cm10

    Hi guys,

Been looking for some user reviews on the new flagship CM10 speakers but there's not much out there on the Interwebs thus far. So I thought I'd generate some discussion on the boards here. How do you guys feel the CM10 stacks up against the CM9? Does the out-of-the-box tweeter give the CM10 a clear and distinct edge over the CM9 in your opinion?

I haven't heard them myself but I have seen on other forums that the CM10 is vastly superior. As it should be for more than half as much money again!

I have a friend who's opinion I trust very well that had a listen to these and he pretty much summed it up, "Amazing". I personally haven't heard them but he said the sound stage was very large and was impressed how much more bass they had when compared to the CM9.

My friend that heard them was comparing them more in the league of a 803. He was really impressed with their bass presence. I guess that extra bass driver really kicked it up a notch.

Agreed. The CM10 sounds nothing like the rest of the CM line, IMO. It sounds like a completely revamped speaker. It's sound is that close to the 800 Diamonds series.

              Hi all,

I'm upgrading from Def Tech BP 7002, CLR 3000, BP10Bs(rear surround) and SM 450's LBC and RBC. My apartment living room is 13 ft wide by 14 ft long with 8ft stucco ceilings. I originally was going to go with the CM10 S2's as my front speakers but decided to go with CM9 S2's for...

              B&W CM10 with Nad C370 & C270 bridged good choice?
              by Win1
              Hi all,

I have a pair of B&W CM10's running off a Nad C370 pre/power amp & a Nad C270 power amp both bridged rated 300Wrms each. The power amp section on both units is identical, the C370 just adds a pre amp.

My room is 32ft by 15ft.

              I am pleased...

I am considering purchasing a pair of CM10 speakers along with the CM-C center-channel, for use in my home-theater which is located in a dedicated, acoustically-treated room. I was told by the designer that I needed a speaker with strong low frequencies, for the bass to register in this room. I wont...

Need amplifier advice for B&W cm10
              by dansken75
Hi. I am new to this forum and couldn't find the answer in other threads. I have a set of Bowers & Wilkins Cm10 speakers with the matching center CMC2 . I run this with a Yamaha receiver but I lack the full punch that I know they can deliver, the receiver is to weak. However, I've looked around...

Upgradeitis recently took its toll on me and there is only one prescription for it - give in to the symptoms and UPGRADE!

My current system is no slouch, at least I don't think it is. Emotiva 8.3 towers for mains, 6.3 center and ERD-1's for my 2 surrounds. They are powered by an...
