    Is htm2d tweeter housing removable?

Noticed that the black tweeter housing is less than 1/4" turned pointing to the left. Does anyone know how the black tweeter housing mounted to the cabinet and if its removable? I want to know if I will be able to straighten the housing out.

    Thanks,
    Tony

Thanks but unfortunately doesn't say how the tweeter housing is attached to the cabinet. Not sure if its glued on or how I will be able to reattach it to the cabinet once pulled off.

I don't know exactly for sure, but I know there's a post that goes into the main cabinet and I'm guessing it's tightened down, there is a rubberish pad that holds the tweeter from making contact on the main cabinet, it's just a matter of removing the main kevlar driver to gain access to it (not sure if you can get to it easily by removing one of the bass drivers or not.

Bear I mind the FST driver has a specific torque setting. Might be an idea to try and find that out too!

I sold my NHTM1 about a year ago. Over the past year I have missed it more and more.

Ive been keeping an eye out for possibly another. Well in my search I came across an HTM2D that had previously had the diamond tweeter broken. This wasnt an issue to me as I have N802s. I dont care for...

            Loose tweeter housing
            by scanido
            Hi All,

I have had my beloved 804S for almost a year now. Today when cleaning the tweeter housing i noticed that one of my speakers has a significantly looser tweeter housing than the other.

On the first speaker the tension from side to side is snug yet flexible enough...

In the thread 'How to replace tweeters on Nautilus and Signature speakers' DM3000 Owner answered my question about replacing tweeters on the Matrix 801 S3 (and S2) as follows:
            "I did a Matrix tweeter.
You can do it two ways. Both require removing the tweeter housing.
