Treat it like timber furniture. If they are damaged or worn a good cabinet maker can fix them like new.
If its in the sun a lot you will get discolouration just as you would with any timber furniture. I have rosenut 804s from 2006. i use a little furniture polish once every 6 months. its enough to keep them looking new apart from the natural darkening of the FST which I don't think you can do anything about.Mac 8gb SSD Audirvana ->Weiss INT202 firewire interface ->Naim DAC & XPS2 DR->Conrad Johnson CT5 & LP70S-> Vivid B1s. Nordost Valhalla cables & resonance management. (Still waiting for Paul Hynes PS:M)

I always thought that that kind of product could damage the veneer and affect its color, good to know I will try it and let you know. BTW it seem that you have been away from the forum for some time, do you have any new comments of your 801D?Leo,

I wasn't planning on doing this upgrade at this time, but with the change in the 800 series I didn't feel I would be willing to shell out for the price increase later. My dealer had one pair...-

by audioquesoMy Nautilus 805's were the cherry wood color.
My set of 804S are rosenut.
One thing I noticed is that the wood does not have the same texture.
The cherry wood of the 805 was silky smooth to touch. I never added any liquids and oils. Always cleaned it with just a microfiber...-
