Treat it like timber furniture. If they are damaged or worn a good cabinet maker can fix them like new.

If its in the sun a lot you will get discolouration just as you would with any timber furniture. I have rosenut 804s from 2006. i use a little furniture polish once every 6 months. its enough to keep them looking new apart from the natural darkening of the FST which I don't think you can do anything about.

I always thought that that kind of product could damage the veneer and affect its color, good to know I will try it and let you know. BTW it seem that you have been away from the forum for some time, do you have any new comments of your 801D?

Been using pledge on my speakers forever. I use the "Extra Moisturizing" pledge.

What about Mineral Oil.... Works great on things. I'd try it that in a small location, it should re-vitalize the wood.

              Upgraded from 683 to 804s
              by stuofsci02
I just wanted to share my excitement as to my recent upgrade to 804s (rosenut) from my 683's.

I wasn't planning on doing this upgrade at this time, but with the change in the 800 series I didn't feel I would be willing to shell out for the price increase later. My dealer had one pair...

Hi there.. I tried to order a pair of 804s and pair of 805s both in rosenut (804s as rears speakers to my front 803s/htm3s).

Dealer told me that he got reply from b&w that they are only in chery wood and black ash available and not in rosenut?

              I asked b&w and they...

800 Series - Cherry vs Rosenut - Is one more porous than the other?
              by audioqueso
My Nautilus 805's were the cherry wood color.
My set of 804S are rosenut.

One thing I noticed is that the wood does not have the same texture.
The cherry wood of the 805 was silky smooth to touch. I never added any liquids and oils. Always cleaned it with just a microfiber...
