    AV stand and HTM2D

    Hi,
I had my TV mounted to the wall so far but am now have to take it down and mounting is not an option. So far I had a custom cabinet built which could accommodate the Classe CA5200 entirely with the rest of my gear and the HTM2D on top. I need to look for an option to raise the TV above the center channel without mounting the TV. Any suggestions? Are there any known mounts that would just take the TV with the feet sliding under my existing cabinet and at the same time have flexibility to raise the TV up enough to clear the HTM2D tweeter by a couple of inches? Thanks
    Ray

Thanks, will take a look. Last time I looked sometime ago the depth wasn't enough to fit the Ca5200. But that might have changed now.

My cabinet does not support a mounting system as it was a custom cabinet built by a local carpenter. It will allow a floor mount stand feet to slide under it. Or I may have to opt for a new integrated system which would allow the TV to be mounted on a stand that is built into the back of the cabinet. However whatever I had seen wasn't deep enough to accommodate the CA5200 as it is very deep. Thanks.

I thought your custom cab fits the CA5200 per your original thread? Anyway, the second link has the floor stand which is a flat plate that you can slide under the cabinet as you wished.

For the record, I use a Solid Tech rack that sits the HTM2D on top and a separate rack for the CA5200 on the bottom. But you aren't after an open rack system, I don't think.

            Good luck on your quest.

            Cheers,
            -H

              HTM3S vs. HTM2D
              by hunglikethor
I am building a 5.1 home theater system and am using 803Ds for the front, 805Ss for the rear and REL B1 for the subwoofer. I listened to this setup along with the HTM3S and it sounded excellent; however I have read that the HTM2D mataches well with the 803Ds. Before I go ahead and setup another listening...

              Hi Guys!
After months of researching, reading and asking questions on this forum I pulled the trigger on 803D L and R, HTM2D, Rotel RB1091, RB 1092 and RSP 1570 and Transparent cables.
Agonized a lot on the sub, but heard 803D's again today and felt impressed with it so will wait a while...
