The new 800 Series diamonds are only about 6 months old... you've probably got a good 3 or 4 maybe 5 or 6 years with this model before they really go for something new...

If I´m not wrong new 800 diamonds series were launched early 2010 but most of customers just received theirs 6 months after. So we could expect any new release up to 3 years at least. I do expect they bring back 801, their best project ever.

Some B&W guy I talked to said they sold only 800 or so of the 801's so it just wasn't profitable to make them, hence on 801s this time around. Perhaps if they make them every other cycle, they sell more? Personally I think their problem is that they just arent as sexy looking as the 802s and the 800s. In my opinion, the 802s is a sexy girl. The 800 is the papa, while the 801's is the fat kid from around the corner.
