What will be the main purpose? HT or stereo listening?

        nimrodasas,

I would go with option #2. Get the 803Di's, and move the 804Di's to the rear. Full tower rears are really good. I have 804D's as rear. The 803's will be very good anchors in either HT or stereo.

Full tower rear speakers are really good, especially with the HD audio formats on Blu Ray.

        Hope this helps.

My experience with 803Diamond versus 803D
          by Mark_NZ
I was a very happy owner of 803D loudspeakers for over 3 years - so happy in fact that I ended up owning 3 pairs over that time. Long story, but in short the first pair was replaced by B&W after I discovered a relatively minor veneer flaw (huge kudos to B&W support :T ). The second pair I...

Exploring Common DIY Terminology - Rear Wave

          Rear Wave

The "rear wave" refers to the sound waves generated by the backside of the diaphragm of the loudspeaker driver. When the driver's voice coil moves back and forth in response to the electrical signal from the amplifier, it causes the diaphragm (cone or dome) to vibrate and produce sound waves both in front and behind the driver. The front wave is the sound that radiates forward and interacts directly with the listener, creating the desired sound output. However, the...

          2nd subwoofer to rear channels?
          by Al K
My dealer suggested using my spare subwoofer connected with its low level inputs and outputs to my rear channels in conjuntion with my rear speakers. This method allows all LFE fom the rear speakers to be fed to the rear sub and not the front sub as done in a conventional HT setup. Of course there is...

          Rear Ceiling Mounted Speakers
          by kvardas
Hi, this is probably going to sound really stupid, but oh well.

I have a pair of custom Vifa 2-way speakers with P17 woofers and D27 tweeters. The Cabinets are approximately 7.5 inches wide by 13 inches tall, and have a rear port. I also have a pair of MTM Fronts and Center that use...
