In a 21 x 14 sized room I can easily mount rear surrounds (in a 5.1 system) on the rear wall (14') but how mad is this compared to moving them to the sides?

In a 5.1 setup they are supposed to be on the sides app. 2 feet/60 cm above your ears.

I have the Denon 2805 which is compatible with DPLIIx and will be using the DS6 as side surrounds for sure at about 2 feet above ear level when sitting down. The saving of $$ by going to DM600 can apply to my upgrade of fronts...-

by Russ LDoes anyone have wall mounted small bookshelf speakers as rear surrounds and how do they sound? I was thinking of any examples but especially the B&W DM600s. Was considering this as a solution for limited room space and can't use in-wall speakers.
Thanks. Russ-
