    Dropped B&W bookshelf speaker

Advice please...I dropped one of my 12 y.o. bookshelf speakers to my home thea system. On dismanteling I see the speakers themselves are ok but the cabinet, board with coils, front and back covers are trash. Is it cheaper for me to order the parts and rebuild or buy a new set? Also I can find the serial number on the speaker but not the model, where do I locate it?

Seeking Information about Pinnacle PN 6+ Bookshelf Speakers
                by borntwice Hi-Fi
I just picked up a pair of Pinnacle bookshelf speakers, model PN 6+. I did find some information on Pinnacle speakers in general, specifically newer models, but not much about the model I purchased (they are too old to be listed on the Pinnacle site, apparently).

                They have 6.5 inch...

I've recently purchased a nice pair of second-hand B&W 703 speakers in rosenut as a replacement for my black 703s. Now I was installing the new 703s and noticed something very weird: the stickers on the terminal tray for the new speakers have a very odd arrangement and are both missing the serial...

                Newbie Speaker Cable Question
                by quis
I recently noticed a number of sites with instructions for building your own cables from cat5 network cable. My current set up is a Cambridge A1 amp, low-end Mission speakers (can't remember the model off-hand, but they're two-way bookshelf type mounted on stands). My current cables are some no-name...
