Emotiva XPA-2 on it's way to pair with 802Ns

Wish me luck, really skeptical over this incredibly "cheap" amp yet many folks say it's very good...

I have a XPA-5 and no complaints, well except for one minor one. I wish the power light could be disabled like the channel indicator lights (I like my system to disappear into the background other than look like a hi-fi showroom/display).

I've had an XPA-2 for a couple of months now and I'm very happy with it. It replaced a Rotel RB-1080. To me it sounds very similar to the Rotel. The improvement is the increased headroom it provides for driving my B&W 803D speakers.

          Should've gone with the XPA-1!

To me the mono blocks were just as good as the Rotel RB-1090! Lots of power and very good with everything you can throw at them. Rotel though I found was a little more musical to my ears. But with your speakers I think youngs have really benefited with the XPA-1 over the XPA-2...but you sonny be toooo disjointed with it.

            Hi,
This is my attempt at a V2.0 Wish list of enhancements for the Rotel RSP 1098

This updated list is based on feedback on the V1.0 list published in a separate thread within this forum and a second consolidated view of all the other threads I can find in this and several other...

            Rotel and Emotiva - compared
            by SkyDover
I've been a big fan of Rotel products. I have a Rotel RC-1090 and RB-1090 for home. I also had a RB-1092 and RC-1090 that I purchased for my office at work to listen to when working later hours, to give me something to listen to. During a period of time we were relocating our office in another location,...

Rotel 1069 or to-be-released Emotiva processor?
            by kmcheng
Has anyone done a comparison of Rotel vs. Emotiva in terms of their processors? I am about to pull the trigger on the Rotel 1069, but then I came across the Emotiva UMC-1. The Emotiva unit has not been released yet. However, I am wondering if anyone has listened to some previous versions of Emotiva's...
