    HTM3s Bluebook Value

Does anyone know what the HTM3s bluebook value is for one that is in excellent shape. I have come across one used and would like to know what range I should be offering. The seller is asking $2300, and my gut is telling me $2000.

    Cheers!

I thought I was subscribing, but I guess I was just making a free registration. Do you need to pay to get pricing info?

        Thanks!

$2300 sounds about right for an absolute mint one. I wouldn't fret over a few hundred bucks as they are very hard to come by and usually snapped up quickly.

Congrats on the new center you'll love it! Just give it some juice and she'll sing!

Probably the best valued center if you can luck out and find one!

The thing I really love about my 804S/HTM3S system is that the drivers are 100% identical between the two down to the sizing. Really, I think it's one of the best matching tower/center kits you can buy other than just using an identical tower for the center. I REALLY noticed a difference coming from the HTM61 - Much more airy & detailed was what I noticed first, and then a more solid sound of the drivers being better integrated as a whole...

I have used the HTM61 and HTM4s with my 804s.. The HTM61 was just bad. The HTM4s was a big upgrade and for sure liveable. I have been looking for the HTM3s locally for a little over a year. This is the first one that popped up and in the right color too!

                        Cheers

Well I would still snag it up even if the HTM4S what a big upgrade! You'll always have the HTM3S in the back of your mind if you don't, heh. I plan on doing the same thing as soon as a mint pair of rosenut 805S show up locally to replace my 685s in the rear channels. I actually thought in this economy that my dealer would still have his demo pair when I was ready to buy but they where sold around the same time they where discontinued! If I would of known they where being discontinued so soon after I bought my HTM3S, I would of just ordered brand new 805S's at the time I ordered the HTM3S or took his demo units on that same day I picked up the HTM3S... I suppose you snooze, you lose, heh.

We will have the same speakers when we are done.. I too am looking for a set of rosenut 805s for my rear speakers.. I picked up a set of CM7 which I am using upstairs in a second system. I will move them down as rears until I can find the 805s..

                                Thanks Dan,

I had to drive about 90 miles each way to pick it up. I just got back.. This sucker is really heavy (maybe even 60 lbs). I would say it is about the same as an 804s (which is a good sign).

The speaker is in flawless condition, but did not have the accessory pack. I can always get one of those. I like to have everything original.

Well... There goes some more money...
