Hi, can anyone identify my ‘old’ B&W speakers

Hi, can anyone identify my ‘old’ B&W speakers. They are in perfect working order, and I have owned them for about 20 years.

    Some details:

    Size: 53cm high

Colour: White with Black grills that are held on with Velcro. There are 2 silver (aluminium ?) metal strips to the left and right of the black grill that are attached to the wooden speaker body.

On the top left of each speaker is a plastic Black and Silver B&W badge.

I think they are what are known as mid range speakers.

I did once have a fact sheet on them, which I lost. I do remember the speakers being classed as wall mounted speakers, which I found odd, as they are quite heavy.

    Here is a photograph:

Which electronics should I get with my B&W speakers?

This is a common question among HT and Two Channel aficionado’s as well as newbie’s alike. The purpose of this thread is to give people a place to start when considering electronics to be paired with B&W Speakers of all...

Noobster build with Piano Black How To
            by kevinm
For the piano black finish.....get ready. This is quite a bit of work. Made MUCH easier with the right tools...but is a bit of bear regardless. Total time took over a month for me including all my orders/lessons learned/and actual finishing. With a second go-round, I bet I could do it over 3-4 weeks only working on weekends. Biggest part is drying time. Figure a day for final sanding/polishing/installing components for the pair.

I tried to do it the poor man's way, but it was exhausting...

Difference between Black Ash to Piano Black
            by garrison
I have 803D as front, HTM1D, and 4 805's all in black ash. I am actually upset because I bought all of these in the past 6 month from my dealer without being told the new piano black was coming out. Is there any difference in the piano black diamond speaker other than appearance compared to the ash...

802D in Black Ash - pics please.
            by rolski
I've decided to upgrade my N803's to 802D's but I have yet to see any good photos of these speakers in Black Ash. My local dealer does not have every colour on display - they've only the cherry & rosenut - with B&W also being seemingly reticent to post pictures on their website.
