This is no April Fools Joke folks. During the next couple of days, we will be picking a day to migrate HTGuide to a new server. We will have the same reliable service we have always had, as we are not changing Hosting Services, only moving to a new updated state of the art server! Support is working to coordinate things right now.
We will announce the date of migration from old server to the new server in due time. We hope to minimize downtime while the DNS propagates to our new IP address, and service is restored. But some downtime is inevitable.
Well if you lived closer I'd be all over it. We have a Sencore calibration kit that works damn good for both ISF and SPL levels. The kit was ~12K so hopefully someone around you has a good kit to use

"The term "audiophile" means essentially nothing -- it's a self-anointed status that entails no credentials, qualifications or certifications. I'm trying to calibrate my 5.1 Era speaker system, powered by my Rotel 1560 and sourced by my Oppo BDP-83 bluray player. All interconnects are quality HDMI cables.
I've used the Rotel test tones as well as the AIX audio calibration bluray, measured on my trusty Radio Shack SPL. Here's...
Who has had it done? and how do you like it? is it necessary? I'm thinking of having it done to my Pionner Pro1140HD Best Buy is doing calibrations for $300. I checked around and that's a good price. They sent some of their installers back east to get (ISF Certified) They had two Samsung LCD's side...
Hi Guys,
Sometime ago it was mentioned that there is someone who travels around the country who really knows calibration of audio gear. Can someone point me towards him or the thread? Thanks,
Ray
I need help from someone who really know how to set up a multichannel system...
I have used a sound pressure meter to adjust the soundpressure from all my speakers based on the noise generation in both my dvd player (when using 7.1 channel) and the noise generation...
