    B&W 802 speaker design criteria

It occurs to me that it would be very handy to know what sort of room placement my B&W 802N speakers were designed for. Then I would have a better idea on how to setup them up in my room. For instance, what was the distance between the speakers when they tested it? What was the distance between speakers and listener? How high above the floor was the listener or measuring equipment placed at? I know that these exact measurements may not be right for my room but at least I would have a good starting point. Does anybody have any ideas?
Does B&W produce a placement guide? I can't find one on the net. Please don't point me to the many general guides on the net. I am looking for one by B&W for B&W speakers.

B&W provides a very basic guide in the manual they provide but its not specific.

The Cardas guidelines have worked for me - check it out here -
The Cardas Speaker Placement Guide. Setting up speakers in a golden ratio, golden cuboid, golden trapagon room, etc.. Speaker placement calculators.

Room acoustics and size play a major role in placement - since treating my room with bass traps I've been able to play around with positioning as well.

    Good luck!

          Imaging

Imaging refers to the ability of a speaker system to create a realistic and accurate soundstage, where the listener perceives the sound originating from specific locations within the listening environment. It is a crucial aspect of audio reproduction that aims to replicate the spatial qualities of the original sound source. Good imaging is essential for providing a sense of depth, width, and height to the audio presentation. When a speaker system has excellent imaging, it can...

          New room, new speaker placement.

Hello, I need some advice on speaker placement. In my last room I just played around and didn't really put that much thought into speaker placement. While I did take the time to measure and align and all that. I was told in respect to toe in that the speakers should point to about 1-2 feet behind your...
