    B&W 805s

    Hi,

    I have a pair of 805s in cherry wood. I have seen a pair of tigers eye sigs. Are the latter a superior speaker or is the only difference the cabinet colour.

      The 805S is a better speaker from what I remember than the Signature 805. The tweeter that was in the Signature 805, which was better than the Nautilus 805, is basically the tweeter in the 805S. The woofer was improved from the Signature 805 to the 805S. The finish on the Signature 805 was very unique and that had an impact on the price for sure.

          Hi there, new member here.

          I am thinking about changing my N805's for a pair of 805S's. I know that the N805's are shielded and that the 805 sigs are not. So, does anyone know if the new 805S's are magnetically shielded ?

          I have a quick question regarding the new 805S vs the Signature 805. The old signature is about $2,700 and the new 805S is about $2,500. Is it worthwhile to buy the new 805S instead of getting the old S805. Just curious if anyone has compared both of them side by side.
