    speaker setup

    Are there meters that help setup speakers and sound in a room? If so, which one do your recommend?

    My preamp doesn't have an auto sound setup capability.

      Radio Shack Analog SPL meter.


      And of course a good test disk. Like Digital Video Essentials. I've found the test tones on the dedicated discs are better then the test tones in receivers and pre-amps.

              Thanks folks. Can you tell me if the is the HD basics or Optimize your Home Theater version...or is it another version of the disk? I am wanting to make sure I get the right disk. Also, where do you recommend getting it?
