Audioquest Gibraltar vs MIT shutgon s3

Hi all, I would like to buy some new cables for my new 804s
the choices are Audioquest Gibraltar vs MIT shutgon s3.
I have no experience on neither of the speaker cables. I don't even know what to expect since the websites just don't provide enough information.

    my setup is

    SC-07 (Receiver)
    Sunfire TGA5200
IC between sc-07 - tg5200 signal cable analog II
speaker cable - to be purchased.
    speakers: main B&W 804s.

Does anyone has experiece with similar setups?

    Thanks,

Send an email to LEX (the forum owner). He has Cat Cables. They are very good performers for the money.

General cable questions are fine. Once we start getting into brand specifics, that muddies the waters and often goes places it shouldn't. The thread may get locked at that point.

    As I said, contact LEX.

    Hope this helps.

I was hoping the answers would have been in the erea as
based on my amp and RCV and my speakers, If I want a bright sound go with brand x, if I want more laidback go with brand Y...

I actually thought that Cat cables was not in business. at least that is what it says in the website.

Also I was under the impression cat cables was the best in interconnects, but there was limited selection in speaker cables.

I will recheck the web site again.

      Thanks!

What are the rules for that now?
Since CatCables is closed, talking about cables is not taking anything away from a no-longer-in-business sponsor. So can cable brand discussion be talked about now?
