What would you choose and why, if most of your audio budget was going toward the speakers, and if you would easily buy used if they were in great shape.

I say keep them, take your time and build your system around them. I ran mine for the longest time on a Rotel receiver and a Classe CA101 amplifier and was very happy with them. I built my system slowly over time looking for deals here and there, and finally got my system where I wanted it.
You could pick up a used Classe CA201 for around $1200 to $1500 that would drive them nicely and be a keeper for quite some time, then move up the chain and replace your source units when the budget allows. :TRobert P. 8)

I'm upgrading my HT system, selling CDM9NT/CDMCNT combo for N803/HTM1 combo. Have existing side surrounds but will eventually upgrade to DS7's (DS8 too big). However, I will also be using this system for critical 2 channel music, and I don't think my Pioneer vsx49tx HT rcvr is going to get the best...16 March 2008, 21:28 Sunday -

Hi, I am using the N803 now with a 70W YBA 2HC, am contemplating to change amp for a different/better sound. I had these brands in mind, Mark Levinson (434, 432, 336), Jeff Rowland (Model 8 or 10), and Pass Labs(X250, XA100).
Could anyone who have used or heard these amps perform on N803...
