Puting up on the list to see if anone responds -
It's replacing the XT4 and has an FST midrange. The grill goes all of the way to the floor and it has a round base instead of the angled feet of the XT4. They are going to be $3300.00 a pair US.

The XT4 will be replaced from the XT8.....well I have see in my heat a set with XT8 mains and XT4 as rear...why????

Thanks guys the pictures are great. I'll certainly demo them when they become available. The XT's only achiles heel is a polite midrange, if the XT8's sound significantly better I will definitely be an early adopter as a replacement for my XT4 set.Comment

Anyone go from the XT4 to the XT8, or do any comparisons? I have the XT4 and came across a deal on XT8s, but wondering if its really worth upgrading. I dont have anywhere local with XT8s so I cant just go in and listen. -

I've sold my XT4 speakers(still have XTC as a center) and I'm looking for a replacement. I would like to improve sq so I was thinking of the XT8's.
Would the XT8 be a good match with the XTC? XT8 has FST and... -
A friend of mine has XT8 front speakers. Now he's looking for a centre speaker.
The obvious choice would be the XTC but...the XT8 has FST midrange but the XTC has not.
Would it be better to buy a CMC2 wich has also FST midrange or go with the XTC anyway??

but right now I'm trying to find the best setup for the XT4 speakers in combintion with the PV1 sub. the sub is placed right at one of the front speakers. my amp is a rotel rmb-1077... -
I want to setup a sleek home theater and when I heard the sound of Xt4' with a the best Rotel Rcvr, the sound was very good on music and movies. For my ears they were very good
