How much better are the XT8 over the XT4

    How much better are the XT8 over the XT4

    Anyone go from the XT4 to the XT8, or do any comparisons? I have the XT4 and came across a deal on XT8s, but wondering if its really worth upgrading. I dont have anywhere local with XT8s so I cant just go in and listen.

      Had the XT8's for a short time and did do a short comparison with the earlier model. Not much difference in my opinion, but I did like the change they did in adding that circular plate. Made it much less likely to fall over if somebody accidentally pushed them.

          FWIW, you can use the base plate from the xt2 stands, on the xt4, and you pretty much have the same base as the xt8
