Fitted a new Bass Driver to 703's..advice on 'running in'?

As above please, as some of you may know I bought them on ebay, and noticed some crackling from one of the drivers when listening to just the Bass (Hi and mid switched off via amp) so I bought a replacement driver and aim to fit it tonight. Just wondering whats the best way to run it in so to speak? Or if I shouldn't listen to it loud until it's been run for an hour or so - does anyone know? It's really easy to remove the driver too, i'll take some pics of the 'repair procedure' and post them tomorrow! Only £70 for a replacement driver too...considering they are £2000 speakers it makes me wonder what the 'expensive' parts of the speaker actually are!? :duh:

I would guess that most of the cost is the cabinet. I suspect that's true of most speakers.

I would further speculate that might be one of the big reasons that B&W is dropping the 700 series as well: it's probably too expensive to produce at it's price point.
