    Rear speakers - M-1 versus CWM650

I am looking at replacing my rear speakers (currently 602 s2), as they won't fit in my new place. I am looking at using either M-1s or CWM650s (in-wall).

Which one is likely to give me the best results? The M-1s are about 30-40% cheaper (A$585 versus A$820), however I will go with CWM650s if they are that much better.

My current speakers are 603 s2, LCR6 and M&K V125 sub. The receive is a Yamaha RX-V2200, but this is likely to be upgraded to the 3900. I am looking at upgrading my front speakers in the next 12 months if this makes any difference (possibly the 700 series).

    Thanks in advance!

Rear Surround For 805s - Need advise
      by audioqueso
      Hello Everyone,

I'm moving (again) in two weeks into a new house, and the house is surround sound friendly, so I'm looking into getting my 5.1 setup back again. Let me rephrase, it's surround-sound friendliER than the last two places I lived in. First let's start off with the size....

      Center for PM1
      by mangus
Hi all - I just listened to a pair of PM1s and ordered them right up. True, they were powered by a big McIntosh when I listened and won't sound nearly as good with my Denon 3212, but I think they should do fine in a Manhattan apartment.

I'm using M1s for rear (don't need much), a Velodyne...

      1068 rear sound problem

Just got my 1068 3 weeks ago. I was excited and hook it up and was impress with its soundstage versus my yamaha DSP integrated amplifier.
Then one day I heard some hissing sound coming from the back speakers. I thought it was the speaker so I switch with my old celestion speakers. it was still...

      B&W 803D Versus 802D Review
      by beden1
Well, I spent over 3 hours at the Classe/B&W dealer today to demo the SSP-800 for the first time, as well as to compare the 803Ds to the 802Ds once again.

For this post, I eliminated the section of my Classe SSP-800 review that I posted in the Classe Forum section.

      CAM350 /CA5300 versus CA2300/CA5300 versus 2 CA5300?
      by spykids777
      Hi,

I currently have 803Di and HTM4Di as my fronts and a 7.1 system. I am using the CA5300 to power my 803Di by Bi-Amping and using the 5th channel to run the center channel. The surrounds and rears are run by my Denon 5308CI. I am eventually thinking of replacing my Denon with the SSP-800....
