    Older CM series (CM4, CM2, CM-C, ASW-CM)

    Hello,
I have an opportunity to buy an older CM series set of speakers. What would be reasonable for me and the seller assuming the condition is good (my research found out that it's $4300 msrp)? I can't find too much info on these, were they not too good therefore not too popular?
    Thanks.

I really liked that series of speaker personally. I cant recall the price, but i just remember liking them a lot better then the former 600 series in both performance and looks.

Here is a review of everything but the sub.

The sub is very good. It's basically the ASW675 in a much nicer cabinet. Here is a link to info on B&W's site.

Thanks. I'll try to listen to it and see if I like the sound. I bet I'll hear much improvement due to my current system being's low quality speakers.

Yeah, also read the ones from hometheatermag and soundandvisionmag (newer model with CM7 and CM1, which I've read is much improved over the older model) and all seem positive.

          Hi all,
I have been shopping for speakers, and like the B&W 600 series line for my budget and tastes. I am upgrading from, well the speakers inside my TV, so to say I am a Newb is an understatement. While listening to some of the B&W 600 series at a local dealer, the dealer suggested...

Question on Rotel 1056 and rdv-1060
          by JOY DIVISION
I've completed the setup in which I ended up getting a B&W CM4 with the CM2 and CMC to match with the 1056 and 1060, the question now is with the digital coax, it was a freebie Audioquest that the dealer gave me. It has been almost 3 weeks and the speakers are sounding better, I am using audio for...

          Upgrading CM2/CMC to 805S
          by ShadowZA
Firstly, a happy new year to everyone. This is my first post on this forum and it's a revelation to know that I'm not the only one in love with my bee an' dubs (b & w's).

          What I'm planning:

I'm considering replacing my 2 rear CM2's with a pair of 805S's. Also my centre...

Replacing tweeters in CMC and CM4
          by hery19
Gentlemen, my dealer just called informing me my tweeters are in. The next question is how do you replace them? Is this something anybody can do. The tweeters I'm replacing are in the discontinued CM4 and CMC.

I would really appreciate your assistance. Thanks! :T
