Hi,
Been a long time passive member. I have two setups
Basement:
CM4 + CMC + CM2 (which I moved to my living room, havent replaced yet)
Rotel 1068 + Parasound Halo A52 and a sub
Living room:
Cm2 + Denon 1610 receiver
The CM2s I have in the living room sound WAY WAY better. They have bass and a full sound. My CM4s dont... its weird. SO i went through a bunch of A/B tests trying the different receivers/speaker combos, moving stuff around etc. Basically went through each source/amp/etc until I isolated that my Cm4s always sound the same, like there is a total lack of midrange/low end. From the Denon Audessy equalizer thingy, it shows that it really had to try and crank up the 62-500hz ranges.
I auditioned the speakers when they were new... so I am assuming I broke something during a move. Any suggestions as to what might have broken? Plan to go to my dealer next week, like to have a heads up.
Thanks!
