    Crossover setting for 684's

Any suggestions on where I should set the crossover frequency for when I am listening to music. I am running a pair of 684's with an Athena AS-P4100 sub through a Denon AVR1707. I've toyed with different settings, but am curious what others think and how others have their 684's set up.

80hz though the receiver (speakers on small) because I use a crappy Logitech Z-5500 sub.

It seems to clean up the mid bass, but that could just be a misconception on my part with the subwoofer extending the bass power.

Can I wire two amps (to be used alternatively) to B&W 684s?
        by tbyrne
I have a six year old Marantz SR4300 HT receiver which works fine as a HT receiver, but seems a bit underpowered for my new B&W 684s. Actually, I think the Marantz eventually makes plenty of power, but I really need to turn it WAY up to get it to play loud (from its baseline –72 db to about –5...

        Brand new 684s, poor sound
        by kiko
        Hello everyone,
I am new to B&Ws and new to this forum, so pardon me if my questions sound too newbie. I have noticed other people have had a similar problem (like this guy here: http://www.htguide.com/forum/showthr...highlight=684), but I'd like to hear your thoughts on...

        Which Rotel amp for 684s?
        by koogs
I want to use my 684s in a 2 channel system as I have downscaled my HT system to 685s and 686s as it is now in a smaller room.

I have the oppurtunity to trade in some of my old gear against a new 2 channel amp but the dealer only carries Rotel & Marantz.

        Which Rotel...

        684s in big room
        by OriginalAnalog
Hey, I just started the process of building up my system starting with the 684s. What a way to start! I can't wait to hook up a better amp. I currently run a classic Sony STR-6065 receiver which provides plenty of power, but not enough clarity. Can a decent integrated amp be had under $700? I have...

How to set levels for rear surround speakers?
        by jakermc
I finally got around to adding rear surround speakers to bring the system up to 7.1 and I have a few questions:

How has everyone gone about setting the speaker levels for proper playback levels. I remember hearing somewhere that adding the rear speakers doubles the volume output in reference...
