    B&W 601's + Dared Valve Integrated

Anyone heard one of these Dared Valve Integrated Amps? I am thinking about using one for my Bedroom.

We're Carlton Audio Visual - with over 200 years accumulated experience, we are here to help

It's seems to be a very cheap price, which is good.
It would be used for: 10% Music, 10% Movies and 80% TV. I know a valve amp isn't really required for TV viewing, but I thought it would be a bit quirky and different than your regular integrated amp. It would be used with B&W 601's.

Or I would maybe consider the model up from it:

    Any thoughts??

I really wouldn't get a tube amp to watch TV. They suck up a lot of power, you will need to retube it every few years, they put out a lot of heat. I do feel that tubes sound better than SS, I have a large collection of both. Just my thought.

Ok, maybe I will go for a Cambridge or something like that. Any opinions on the Cambridge Audio 640A v2?

        I realize it's not ideal, but could a Cambridge 640A v2 drive 804S's?
        by mdavis
For the time being, I won't be able to upgrade my amp, and I'd like to get an idea as to whether it's even possible to get ok-ish results using a Cambridge Audio 640A V2 (75 Watts at 8 ohm) on a pair of 804S. Has anyone done this? I wouldn't be listening at mega loud volume levels.

Has anyone run the older nautilus 804 on an integrated amp with good results?
        by mdavis
Am very close to pulling the trigger on a used pair of N804 and was wondering if they could be paired to a Cambridge Audio 640A v2 with good results? I've been told that the 804s could work fairly nicely on the 640A but they are rated with a sensitivity of 90db, vs the N804's sensitivity of 89db. Would...

        Integrated amplifier choice for 683?
        by michaeld53
Just picked up a pair of 683's. Love them and my new Cambridge 740c upsampling CD player. Now am interested in a new (or used) integrated amp.

New to this level of audio, so I look forward to lots of advice.

Can spend up to 1500$, though don't feel compelled to ...

        601s vs the 705s?
        by BlazeMaster
Hi, all I currently have the 601s right now for my fronts with the LCR600 and am planning for a eventual upgrade to the 700 series within next 6 months and wanted some ideas. I know it's all going to come down to me listening to them and pick the one I like better. What's the different in sound between...
