    N803's used mint condition>>

    $2900!

I have been thinking of going to 805s from CDM 9nt's. Today I came across a pair of mint n803 at a used audio store. I gave them a listen and they are sweet sweet sweet but kind of kills the no towers idea of going with the 805!

    What to do?

I went through the same exercise a while ago! I compared 805/804/803 the outcome was undeniable that the 803 has a fantastic separation that blends sweetly to the middle of the listening circle. Has all the right elements for most musical sounds. Only thing is B&W 803 need is more power to drive efficiently to obtain the best out of them. The difference from a Dennon/Marantz/Blah Blah Blah to that of a Classe or in my case a PliniusSA250 opened up an amazing sense of sound. Some have gone down the Tube way only you can decide. If you have plenty in your Budget for good mid to hi end equipment then go for it. You wont be disappointed! After 2 years with mine, I'm not.

:?: Until recently, I was running my Pioneer Elite VSX-45TX receiver (100W x 7) with B&W 602s, 601s, and CC6 speakers (and Velodyne sub) in a 5.1 arrangement. I have been very pleased with this setup for both multi-channel music and movies. Recently, however, I received an small influx of cash and...

          N803s or 703s....?
          by Drewbert
Im looking around on audiogon for some 700s... And I ultimatly want 804s or 803s. But I noticed that I can find N803s for a little bit more than the newer 700s.... so would you go for the N, or just save a little more and buy the newer 800s? For me the 703s are much easier to get, and I love the way...

          Voltage stabilizer N803S and MC402
          by sorpe
          Hello,

I'm wandering about inserting a power conditioner and a power stabilizer with: N803S, MC402, MF pre and transport.

What is the impact in the functionality, in sense of current (performance) limitation ?

What do you recommend: other than Richard Gray....

          by EastCoaster
          Hi 'yall,

I was wondering whether you've had experiences where you set-up your speaker system in a very, very precise and measured way, and then found out that you had a "sweet spot" where the music was undeniably, unabashedly, uncompromisingly AMAZING - and that outside of...
