    HI,
    We can't read your mind. Could you be more specific such as what equipment you are talking about, etc. What you have said so far makes no sense to me.

      Ok , my B&W sub is a ASW610.In the manual it says to set the low pass filter to OUT when using the sub for home theater and set the low pass filter to IN for stereo.On the back of the sub is a switch that you can set to either in or out for the low pass filter.I was jsut wondering why this is and what it does in the in/out positions.Why OUT for HT and IN for STEREO.My sub is not connected to the fronts but directly to Receiver.

        When you are using the sub for home theatre, the crossover frequency is set in the reciever. Setting the sub's low pass filter to OUT bypasses the sub's internal crossover.

        When using the sub in a normal stereo system, you are using presumably using preamp outputs (variable line out). Since most stereo amplifiers do not have any bass management or low pass filter, setting the sub's low pass filter to IN uses the sub's internal crossover.

        IN = use internal crossover
        OUT = bypass internal crossover

              HI,
              Not sure what you are saying. The OP did elaborate on the problem in response to my question and gave enough info to deal with the issue. Is that what you mean?

              Or were you surprised I did not address the question? Why would I when the question was answered in a perfectly good way by someone else.

              What's your point?

                Worth it to add another sub to my IB?
                by Mazeroth
                I have a very small HT that measures 11x18x6.5 in my townhouse's basement. In the front left corner of the room, in the left wall is my quad Shiva IB sub (see sig; painted red now). I'm powering it with a single PE 240w plate amp and using a channel from my DCX2496 to handle crossover and EQ. I sit...

                How to set up behringer 1500 for SS-15
                by matt36887
                I am wondering if it would be ok to bridge the amp for 1- SS RL-p 15"? Also for those that have a behringer how do you have your mode switches set up (Clip limiter, low cut filter, stereo or parallel or mono)?

                I auditioned JL Audio E110 sub and my questions about E110,E112,subwoofers in general
                by AwArEnEsS
                I have listened to JL audio E110 at an audio shop, in another city.The reason why I want a sub is mostly feeling the sound at my body,gut especially , also hearing the lower frequencies which my speakers(or any other speaker) can't give.

                When we arrived,I asked the sales person if we...

                by Club1820
                Hello. I have a couple of questions regarding the settings for the sub on the 1068 pre/pro.

                I currently have my M&K VX-860 250 watt sub volume level set at Reference and also set to bypass its crossover settings in favor of the pre/pro. On the 1068 I have the crossover set...

                Hello!

                I have a random question here. I have a pair of M&K MX-350 THX Ultra subwoofers that I am hooking up to my Parasound Halo C1 unit. Right now, I have the sub out going to one of the subs and the other sub hooked up to Pro 2.

                Under "Size Setup", I am...
