I must admit that I had "goosepimples" as well! I found the whole viewing incredibly uplifting, and the moving expressions on the face of the quite attractive female judge didn't hurt either. It's nice to see an "average Joe" able to come out of his self conscious shell and perform a feat of incredible being!

The aria he was singing was Nessun Dorma from Puccini's opera Turandot. That particular tune was Pavarotti's signature encore with which he ended his concerts.Originally posted by Maverick71

This the reason we love BW, nothing stirs nor relays emotion like music. Even though most of us cannot decipher the words, it is immaterial, the feeling permeates directly into the soul! Fabulous! In the past, I noticed that I prefer a well implemented passive crossover to the DEQX ( mid to tweeter ).
Never gave any thought as to why, just accepted that in an apples to apples comparison, the passive sounded better.

This documentary follows baby pilots in becoming CF-18 Hornet pilots. It was filmed where I worked recently in Cold Lake Alberta at 410 Sqn. It was quite the production while I was there.
It starts next week on Discovery Channel on Tuesday, Jan 8th. It will be on HD and I assume regular channel....04 January 2008, 12:03 Friday
